I isntalled the complete WMQ 7.5 on AIX 7.1

SMIT reported a successful installation with the OK rc.

However, I can not find a setmqinst or dspmqinst in order to determine and set the PRIMARY PATH

I get the following after installation

# su - mqm
$ pwd
/var/mqm
$
$ ls
config exits mqclient.ini qmgrs sockets
conv exits64 mqft service.env trace
errors log mqs.ini shared
$
$ dspmqinst
ksh: dspmqinst: not found.
$
$ setmqinst
ksh: setmqinst: not found.
$

What should I do to determine the issue ?

Well, the mq binaries are not added to the default path any more, in order to make it easy and reasonable to use multiple installations.

And the mq binaries are never kept in /var/mqm anyway...

Try looking in the bin folder in the location you specified for the install location.

And then use the full path to the setmqinst in the bin folder in that location.
