Hi,
I am new to WebSphere Transformation Extender.I want to make message flow in WebSphere Transformation Extender. Is there any link/tutorial for helloWorld type application ?
For WebSphere Transformation Extender, Is there compulsory to install WebSphere Messsage Broker first ? Or WebSphere Transformation Extender can work alone as an ESB ?
One more thing, If I have made some message flows in Message Broker. Can I migrate or import those flows in WebSphere Transformation Extender?
Help required!!!
Thanks |

I offer you humble condolences. WebSphere Transformation Extender in its current form is a very poor implementation of a great idea.

Better you start more slowly. Make a message flow in Message Broker first. You will find out that you do not need to use WTX because everything you need to do is found in WMB not WTX.

Yes, there is a class offered by IBM that you can take to teach you WTX. Better you take the WMB class first:

No, WTX does not work at all as a standalone ESB. It is a legacy product in need of a deep dive rewrite.

No, your better off leaving your existing flows in WMB. Don't try to migrate them to WTX.

This sounds a lot like this thread & much of the advice stands.

You can't; that's not what the software does.

How do you plan to use Webshpere Transformation Extender without something to extend??
You don't have to use WMB of course; as your other thread asked about DataPower you clearly know about usiong WTX as well.

No kidding. Get some training. Or some reading skills. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
