IMHO the OP isn't asking about using security as that link describes but administrative security which came in with WMBv7.

@aravind703 - if you want to check how the broker admin security is configured, you should get a report.

(That's a clue - look it up)

(Don't use the link provided by @lancelotlinc - that's for WMBv6.1 which used ACLs rather than this)

@ Vitor

Thank You Very much. Seriously i should have given a good try before i post the question here

here is what i found

Quote:

mqsireportbroker MB7BROKER

BIP8927I: Broker Name 'MB7BROKER'
Install path = '/opt/IBM/mqsi/7.0'
Work path = '/var/mqsi'
Broker UUID = 'b57f486a-729b-11e0-a96d-000000000000'
Process id = '9568326'
Queue Manager = 'MB7QMGR'
User lil path = ''
User exit path = ''
Active user exits = ''
LDAP principal = ''
LDAP credentials = ''
ICU converter path = ''
Trusted (fastpath) Queue Manager application = 'false'
Configuration change timeout = '300' seconds
Internal configuration timeout = '60' seconds
Statistics major interval = '60' minutes

Broker registry format = 'v7.0'

I was curious exploring new things on the admin side . One of the recent post in the form ACL change authority problem made me think how to find the Broker's current state of security

Thank You once again for the hint
