Hi,
A client is using Microsoft SCOM 2012 and I have been informed that there is a Message Broker plugin for this product - but I have not managed to find any details beyond IBM's storage management solutions.
Has anyone found or used an IBM MB plugin for MS SCOM? If so any idea on pricing? Usability?
Obviously the fallback position would be to write our own interface using a database (MB->DB<-SCOM).
Thanks in advance for any contribution.
Kind regards,
Rowan |

I don't see any mention of WebSphere MQ or Broker on that page?
I'm not sure I understand why a connector that bridged between Microsoft SCOM and Oracle management tools would be of any help to anyone who doesn't have any Oracle management tools, and I can't imagine that Oracle had anything to do with this. |

@mqjeff I was remiss in my dialogue. I should have been more elaborate: No, there is not an Eclipse connector that supports MS SCOM. If there was an Eclipse connector, you could potentially use it to help design your ESQL or Java WMB interface. But since this is not the case, you must interface to MS SCOM through the DB as documented by Microsoft. Good luck. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

That wasn't the question. It wasn't about how to run SCOM inside MBExplorer or MQExplorer.
It was about how to monitor and manage Broker with SCOM.
Granted, the link I posted is for MQ, not for Broker, so it doesn't help either. |
