Hello,

we use some client trigger monitor (the executable 'runmqtmc') on Unix platform for distant MQSeries server.

Is it possible to configure which channel is used by the runmqtmc ?

Default seems to be SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN (our MQseries is v6).
However we want to de-activate this well-known default channel for obvious security reasons.

Thanks for attention and help.
Bye,
Bruno

Runmqtmc uses all of the normal client means of setting the connection information.

Best bet is to use a CCDT.

Runmqtmc acts like any other MQ client application.

As I said, the easiest way to do what you want is to create a client channel definition table, and then tell runmqtc to use that ccdt and have it specify the name of the queue manger that relates to the correct channel in the ccdt.
