What is wrong with the V7 one? Can you not migrate it to V8? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Well spidi, simple truth is the V7 one is useless in a V8 environment
I get a very nice error:
ERROR: Missing requirement: Pattern Plug-in 1.0.0.0 (com.hmw.salesforce 1.0.0.0) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.jet [0.9.1,1.0.0)' but it could not be found
So the provided pattern at the moment cannot be used as is with V8.
And last time I checked (1 Minute ago) there is no doc or anything on how to migrate pattern from V7 to V8.....
this is rather sad, cause the real value of this pattern used to be (on V7) that someone obviously mastered the art of turning the enterprise.wsdl of SFDC into a valid message set in broker toolkit. My Toolkit will not do so but ends up in a round trip reference whirlwind, distributing types over inline.xsd's and so on, which depend on each other and therefore never leave the error state and become valid.
Any Help or Hint is greatly appreciated.... |

The error you've posted appears to relate to efforts needed to instantiate the pattern, not use the resources created by instantiating the pattern.
If that's the case, you should be able to create an instance of the pattern in a v7 toolkit and then export the instance of the pattern (the message flow projects and message definition projects) in Project interchange or other format and then import those into a v8 Toolkit workspace.
If your Toolkit is at v8FP1, then you can even migrate the message maps (if any) from v7 .msgmaps to v8 .map files. |

Hi,
no i actly just want the pattern to be listed as a pattern in my toolkit first and not instantiate it.
Thats where the error message appears. I am using 8.0 Tookit. |

going by the discussion on this thread leads me to beleive that someone actually got the pattern to create an instance on Broker v7 at least
Currently that is not happening for me and like others on this thread :
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56797
I too am getting the PHP error :
PHP script not found: main.php (com.hmw.salesforce.sample)
Has anyone been able to solve this issue with MB v7 ? |
