we have a strange error. we have two webservices deployed on prod servers.

We see 404 response only for the first request and remaining requests are being processed good.

Any one faced this error. Additional threads are running on the flow.

Any inputs please?

Look in your /var/adm/user.log and post the relevant log messages in [c o d e ] tags.

We don't see any details on user.log(like the errors)

Then you haven't found the source of the problem yet.

You haven't even really provided a good definition of "the first request". Is it "the first request" from each individual client after they start up? Is it "the first request" to each DFE after it starts up? Is it "the first request" to any DFE on any broker after 12:00 midnight? Is it "the first request" after the network guys completed their maintenance?

On AIX, it takes about 90 seconds for the Axis2 listener to kick in after a restart. You need to allow at least this much time after starting the Execution Group in order for a SOAPInput node to receive the first request.
