Hi I am trying to install Mr01 message exit onto my channel but I found that the .dll was unable to get loaded on to the channel during starting and the channel goes to retrying state,
While starting the channel , I am getting the following error in the logs "This Message Applies to Windows NT and Windows 2000" Systems only" The OS we are using in windows 2003 server.
I tried to compile using cygwin , Can you please help me with compiling the "C" code provided as I made(tweaked this and that in the middle) the GCC command to run instead of executing the command in right way.
because I got the error "/home/user/MR01/cmqc.h:2294: error: expected `=', `,', `;', `asm' or `__attribute__' before `*' token" .
Since the error is showing in the both cmqc.h and cmqxc.h , I am unable to proceed further.
Can you please help me with the command, an also the link command.
Thanks

Compiling with Cygwin isn't going to help.
It would require that your queue manager also be compiled with cygwin.
Go back to square one. - contact the owner/maintainer of the supportpac
- follow the instructions in the supportpac documentation for troubleshooting and compiling.

The Support Pac Documentation says to refer the MQ inter Communication manual for the compilation reference, even that doesn't help me , Its not described clearly , but in the infocenter I could find some examples for compiling through a compiler "lc.exe" , which I am unable to get online.
Plz share if you have some otherway to do it.
Thanks

You need Visual Studio to compile C code on Windows.
You can use Visual Studio Express. |
