Hi,
Can anyone help?
We need to setup a data transfer from our mainframe to an oracle 8i database (8.1.7.0.0) on Unix
The method we are trying to use is by MQseries messages from the
mainframe to an MQSeries server on Unix, Oracle Message Broker
will then pickup the MQ message and convert it to an oracle AQ message
and load it directly to the Oracle Database.

Can anyone help with the configuration of the Oracle Message Broker ?
The MQSeries part works fine and there is ample documentation on AQ messaging but I cannot find anything specific for MQSeries and OMB

We have done something very similar but the data transfer was between AS/400 and Unix.
We were using Oracle Interconnect's MQ Adapter. Is this what you are trying to use or is OMB a different product from Oracle Interconnect.

I think Oracle Message Broker is a different product.
