Now I have a i5 machine with mq server installed.
I also have another mq server on windows machine with a qmgr and some queues configured in it.
Later there will be an application on i5 that want to put and get mssg to queue on windows machine.
What configuration should I do to both machine?
Do I need to create transmission queue, sender-receiver channel, remote queue definition in both machine? Or there are exist a more simple way?
Anybody know where can I find guide to create, delete, etc mq object in iseries? I've googled but there is hard to find.
Thx b4 |

As you yourself indicated here you can create a client connection from the i5 to the windows queue manager.
Or:

You can do this and run locally on the i5 (you may find this easier than getting an i5 app to use a client connection).

Google? The i5 documentation is in the InfoCenter with all the other platforms! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Okay thanks vitor
I'll just try to create a client connection from i5 to the mq server
As I know there are no MQSERVER variables in i5.. CMIIW
Anyone know how to create the client connection in i5?
Is it also using CCDT? |

And prior to that, there is the SupportPac Java client. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I presumed that the OP is not yet at 7.1. And Java and JMS are the exceptions. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
