I am getting below message when I tried to configure message broker server 6.0.Can some body tell me what is the issue ?

WebSphere MQ, running with the authority of user 'musr_mqadmin@d9203067', was unable to retrieve group membership information for the specified user.

Ensure Active Directory access permissions allow user 'musr_mqadmin@d9203067' to read group memberships for user

Are you running this on WIndows? If so, you need to set your Active Directory permissions.

Quote:
Configuring WebSphere MQ Services to run under a domain user
Use the Prepare WebSphere® MQ Wizard to enter the account details of the domain user account. Alternatively, use the following command line to set the domain user account: AMQMSRVN -user [domain]\[userid] -password [password] In either case, WebSphere MQ allocates the correct security rights and group membership to the new user account.

What is your Broker runtime version? What platform are you running on?

This is a windows permission problem and you did not set up the account correctly. See the documentation for window and domain accounts.

Do you know how to read? Did you see the quote above? Can you use Google?

WMB versions have four digits. Like 6.0.0.1. Which version are you running?

This is irrelevant to the WMQ problem you're describing, except to inform us you're way behind the upgrade curve.

Look in the documentation which matches whatever version of WMQ you're using (which should be v7 but probably isn't) where it explains how to do this, and follow the instructions (with the aid of your Windows admins if necessary).

Didn't you have this problem before? Is this something you try once a year?
