Welcome to the wonderful world of Message Broker.

The Samples that you can import into your desktop environment can give you a lot of help BUT (and before several of my esteemed colleagues post) you really need some proper training.

Message Broker is not a product you can pick up in 5 minutes. It takes a lot of time and effort to become competant in using it properly. (Like driving a car really).

Get some training!

This is a good book to read:

If training is not possible, how do you expect to work in this field?

Most probably badly if my experience is anything to go by.

One thing more desperate than a FNG, is a FNG with no training. In the US Marine Corp, they call those people 90 day wonders. Most 90 day wonders never make it to their 100th day. KIA.

My friend tells me this phrase means, "just reply me what I need, don't give me all the other gobble-de-gook ."

For an industry built on gobble-de-gook, and where the devil is often in the detail (gobble-de-gook), I think this is a self-defeating request.

Yes, Sir Vitor. Excellent point, sir. I also think I did tell him precisely his need: training. And I provided a real-world example of what happens when you don't have the knowledge, skill or training you need but are placed "under fire" anyway: the FNG syndrome. I see a strong parallel between US Marines in Vietnam getting "green" recruits for New Guys and Freshers trying to do Message Broker work. FNGs.
