Hi,
I got an issue in our environment MQ v5.3 where the Queue Manager ended abnormally. The below is the error I found in the AMQ error logs
Quote: |
AMQ9510: Messages cannot be retrieved from a queue.
EXPLANATION:
The attempt to get messages from queue 'SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE' on
queue manager 'XXXXXXXXXX' failed with reason code 2009.
ACTION:
If the reason code indicates a conversion problem, for example
MQRC_SOURCE_CCSID_ERROR, remove the message(s) from the queue. Otherwise,
ensure that the required queue is available and operational. |
At the same time the FDC got generated which says

I found when I searched for this error the process amqzxma0.exe which is the Processing Controller got terminated by some reason and that caused the Queue Manager end abnormal.
Can someone help me how I can check what made the process amqzxma0.exe terminate?? |

You could try looking in Event Viewer to see if there's anything related, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
When are you looking to migrate to a supported version of WMQ? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

It got grumpy?
You're not even on the most recent maintenance of the out of support version.
Back then, sometimes amqzxma0 just crashed. In later versions it didn't, like it had been fixed or something.... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

MQ 5.3 clustering was not as stable as V6 and V7.
I certainly hope that it is the cluster repository process that has trouble here. Otherwise WTFAYD touching the cluster's system queues? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
