Did you search here before posting? At the top of this page there are two Search buttons.
You should also search google for wmq+high availability. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

And let me just state for completeness that queues have no life of their own. They are sub-entities of a qmgr.
In consequence the entity you need to make highly available is the qmgr. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

The one and only way for queue high-availability is with a Queue Sharing Group (QSG) of queue managers - and that means z/OS (mainframe).
If you want queue manager high-availability, then I defer to the comments made by my highly-esteemed board colleagues. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

And it still requires the QSG and at least one of the qmgrs participating in the QSG and hosting the queue to be available... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

For z/OS, search here and google for parallel sysplex. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
