One of our client is looking for Pub/Sub solution in WMB v7. Does the subscription has to be a queue ?
Scenario: There are about 3000 application instances which are interested in a particular message.
My understanding of PubSub in WMB:
Using a message flow generate the particular common message and using the primitive node publish the message with a topic. Later create queues and subscription for that particular topic.
Pushback:
With this approach, each of the 3000 application instance should be polling the queue and reach the message accordingly. the app owners are not happy with this approach.
Is there a way to create subscription like something TIBCO product? where the message is published and subscription is created at the client application... that way there is activity of subscription in the ESB layer
