#1 is there a internal process in the standby qmgr that would check the health status of the active qmgr? and it would take over if it finds the active qmgr is not available any more.
#2 if there is no such process, then i suppose we have to create our own script to check the health of the active qmgr and restart the standby qmgr to take over if the script determins that the active qmgr is not available, right?
#3 do we need to care about the lock mechanism on the networked file system? or the MQ would take care? is there some process monitoring the lock on the networked file system?
Thanks! |

I struggle to see how this differs from this post.
You're still asking about conditions for failover, though I suspect this is another way of asking "will it always work"? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Answers to these and other questions you have will likely be found in the InfoCenter documentation _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
