Hi Guys,
In one of my application, the channels were in retrying status.when i checked in MQ logs, It was Remote CipherSpec error.When i checked , the validity of SSL certificate got expired and now i have installed new SSL queue manager certificate , and tried startign the channel, it is in RETRYIGN status with same CIPHERSEC error
--> REFRESH SECURITY(*) is working
--> REFRESH SECURITY TYPE(SSL) not working
Can you please let me know how to refresh the security type(ssl) for MQ5.3? |

Get off V5.3 and on to a supported version. On V5.3, the only way to refresh SSL after a certificate change is to recycle the queue manager; the refresh command for security in the version you're using is for OAM only. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

exerk means stop and start the qmgr, using the commands
endmqm -i QMGRNAME
strmqm QMGRNAME
Run the commands as the mqm user. |
