Hi,
We have a scenario where in we see the message set with the extension like ".dictonary" and ".xsdzip" when deployed in the execution group. This behaviour is seen in only one particular execution group.
In the other execution groups the extensions are not seen for the message sets.
Why is this behaviour particular in one execution group and why is the extension seen only for the message sets? Is there any particular settings? |

Look at the different physical formats you have in your messages. eg XML1, CWF1 etc.
Then map those formats to the names of the message sets you have deployed.
There will be a correlation to the extentions of the files to the type of physical format in the message set.
Or you could search for the answer to this question that was given by mqjeff within the last two months. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Yes we get the extensions as per the message formats, but the problem is if the same message set is deployed in any other execution group, we dont get the extensions, only in one particular execution group we are getting the message sets with extensions.
Is there any specific Execution group property to disply with extensions? |

How about using a little hint from the data in your post?
I mentioned 'mqjeff'.
You mentioned xsdzip.
Put the two together.
as search terms.
The answer is there for all to see. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

I found few posts from mqjeff related to the message set extensions, but those does not answer my question still. The problem i have is as below,
I have deployed few message sets in a execution group and i get the extensions for the message sets like ".dictonary" and ".xsdzip" and even for the JAR files like ".jar" seen in the execution group.
This behaviour is found only in one execution group and when i try to deploy the same set of message sets and jar files in some other execution group, i dont see the extensions. |

That might be because you don't deploy message set files or jar files to execution groups. The only deployables are .bar files.
Also if you have dictionary files deployed, you may not see any extension unless you have the same name with both a .dictionnary and a .xsdzip extension in the same e.g. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I dont understand what you mean. We have deployed the BAR files of Message sets and one of the BAr file of a Message Flow has a JAR file as well. But what we have deployed is BAR files of message sets and Message Flows. |

Just being pedantic there and wanting to make sure you deployed the same BAR files. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

But in my case, i also have a JAR file deployed to the execution group and i have only one JAR file and even that has the .jar extension shown. This is a very unique behavior i have noticed and there i find no explanation for this any where.
Only the Message sets and the JAR files have these extensions, the Message flows dont have the .cmf extensions shown. |
