Your team lead may not want the latency incurred by DB access for every message. Thats why I suggested a Singleton. You get the same result as DB without the latency.

Your team lead is doing something wrong.

It is not entirely clear what.

You should be using Monitoring events for this - and configure the flow to emit an event message with the relevant pieces of data.

Then you should use something to collect those events and report on them.

The previously mentioned "solution" of using a java singleton to hold data requires that it is okay that all data is lost when the EG is restarted.

You need to get clearer requirements from your team lead to understand what the constraints are.
