Had some problems in the Dev environment (Solaris machine). Decided to delete everything and start over. Deleted the broker and the config mgr. Wiped the databases and recreated them. Made sure that all the SYSTEM.BROKER.* queues had been deleted. Recreated the broker and the config mgr.
But when I go to deploy the topology, I still get the UUID mismatch error. Anyone have any hints?
Thanks in advance. |

Try using different names for the databases and queue manager. _________________ Kiran

But that screws up my naming standards.
Actually, I got it resolved last night. Whenever we would delete and recreate the broker, it was picking up its old UUID from somewhere. I can't prove it, but my theory was that it was picking it up from shared memory.
I shut down everything, deleted the broker, and cleaned up the shared memory. (Did it manually with ipcrm......I hate waking up sys admins for a reboot. They get so cranky.) Then I created the broker and deployed the topology without incident.
Thanks everyone! |
