Hi,
I am having problems in viewing broker under the operations tab of control center.
Here is my scenario
I have NT having the Config Mgr and Broker running on AIX machine.
Have created Channel for both Qmgrs.
All channels are running well & able to send messages across.
when I do ps -ef on the AIX system I can find MQSI_SAMPLE_BROKER (bipservice) & DataFlow engine..
Using the AIX installation Guide, I manage to deploy the broker using the Cont Ctr was successful.
But I cannot view this in the operation tab under control center.
Is there any thing or any steps I may missed out .
Pls advice ...Thanks |

Do you see the Broker in the Topology tab? Try doing a refresh in the Operations tab and see if you get anything there. _________________ Kiran

I tried to refresh once depolyed under operation tab ...there was nothing no execution group or broker name, even the Log tab doesn't show any errors or deployed actvity.
when I do a ps -ef on my aix machine, I can see that DataFlow Default engine is deployed.
To test further, I created another execution group on Config Mgr and tried to deploy to the broker hit the following error
error
BIP1510E: Unable to deploy configuration data.
Not sure why is this occuring.
I am using MQSI 2.1.0.4 on AIX and on NT 2.1 CSD4. |

It sounds like your NT user doesn't have the proper permissions. |

I have given permission of the NT users "mqsiuid".
The database on AIX was created by mqsiuid listed under the AIX user list.
Still doesn't works |

When you open the Control Center, are you logged in as 'mqsiuid'? |

Yes, I log on to the control center by using mqsiuid.
mqsiuid ID is define on AIX and NT..even the database on AIX was created by using mqsiuid & on NT added mqsiuid inside the acl of databases |

As per the error message you have an outstanding deploy request. Try doing a force deploy of your broker. _________________ Kiran
