Hi All,
When I am running the WTX Map with single record file or multi record file with the type tree (copy book imported ) settings to process single record file then I am able to validate input file with the type tree.
But when I am trying to run the WTX map with the type tree settings to process multi record file then Design Studio is crashing
I am using WTX 8.2.0.5 on Win XP.
Any one faced same issue or any suggessions.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Venkat, There are several APARs related to WTX crash by "invalid data" in message sets. These APARs are delivered in WTX 8.2.0.6. If you can't wait for 8.2.0.6, then open a PMR and you can get them separately. Best of luck to you. Lance _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I did not heard about 8.2.0.6.
But I did tried on 8.3 and it is working fine even for reading multiple record files.
I would request any IBMers to comment is it time to open PMR or am I missing something in 8.2.0.5 which is not required in 8.3.
I tried at home on 8.3 but at client place we are using 8.2.0.5.
Thanks & Regards,
Venkat. |
