Hi,
Can somebody help me in troubleshooting the following error for MQ series:
" An MQ Series Error has Occured- Completion code 2 Reason code 2195."

Usually there is an FDC when you get this error. If there is one can you post what it says.
It's in <MQ Install Dir>/qmgrs/<QMGRName>/errors

It would also help knowing at what point the error occurs such as
starting qmgr or connecting /MQPUT/MQGET ???

| This Problem occurs when the System is up and not while starting the Q managers. So it might mean that during MQPUT and MQGET only, this problem occurs. |

| Even if you are doing puts/gets, the 2195 usually throws an FDC file. Did you get one? |

Hello,
we have the same error in our environment.
we're making an online Backup and on sometimes mqs and the backup will access q files and or log files at the same time and in some cases mqseries hanging up with 2195 and only restart mqs service will help.
Is someone else using mqs-filesystem data excpet mqs itself, Devasis.Sahu  ?
