Guys,

I'm also getting 2009 error when I'm trying put CCSID as 500 , but it seems that 500 is valid CCSID code..
If I'm not setting any CCSID it's working fine....

I doubt if the error 2009 is just because of the CCSID. What I understand is that the error 2009 is because of some unexpected behaviours, it may be because of the network related issues or because of something that is causing connection issues.
Also if the connection is broker because of any issues, probably you need to follow a defined process to have that connection available again.
