No, there is no problem with using runmqtrm for FMCTRIGGER because the trigger app is c++ code.

i am using FMCTRIGGER as initiation queue for my application triggering.. the same queue is used by execution server for its triggering requirements.. during the testing process my server stops responding.. may be my application trigger messages are blocking the queue resulting in execution server malfunction..

anyway i am planning to use a separate initiation queue for my application requirements..

Sorry ssharker, I think I misunderstood your question about FMCTRIGGER. I thought you were asking if it was ok to use runmqtrm as the trigger monitor with FMCTRIGGER with WMQ 5.3. The answer to this is yes. It is not a good idea, though, to use this queue as your app's initiation queue. Workflow employs it's own triggering mechanism.

Keep up posted about the progress of triggering your java app.
