Hi!

Are there any experiences connecting / using a Firebird database from WMB 6.1 on Solaris?
A quick search on Firebird brought me the following results:
JDBC driver
ODBC driver
So there are drivers available but ODBC for Windows / Linux only (and I don't have any experience in using JDBC driver within WMB JCN) but Supported databases does not mention Firebird at all.

Am I correct that I have to use WMB 7.0.0.x in order to use SupportPac IE02?

Pretty much. And Firebird isn't supported officially either. But it's a least a start.

Otherwise, a JDBC connection is "mostly supported".
