Has any one worked on integrating Message Broker with Salesforce.com? Would you please throw some light OR point me to some useful documentation?

Very kindly....

Integration is achieved through WSDL files. Have you taken the WMB course yet? Highly recommended.

WMB implementations are not for novices. How many WMB implementations have you done to-date?

If Salesforce.com exposes webservices, you would create message flows that use the WSDLs provided - that is, that have SOAPRequest and SOAPInput nodes as needed.

IBM generally only presents things like "Integrate Message Broker with X" as developerWorks papers or redbooks. So if IBM has produced such a document, and that document is available for public consumption, then that is most likely where it would be available.

IN GENERAL, the answer to "How do I Integrate Broker with X" is "Using the native featuers of Broker to call interfaces that X exposes". And the process is then to enumerate the interfaces that X exposes, determine the connectivity needed, describe and quantify the business requirements, and then develop message flows to meet those needs.

Don't forget the Salesforce.com pattern for V7!

See the stickies at the top of the page.

(I'm surprised that mqmatt hasn't been blowing his trumpet about it

Parp!

The pattern is pretty good and self-explanatory to use. Let me know if you'd like any assistance.

I'll confess - I was thinking that too.

I'm giving this "restraint" thing a try.

Hi,

I was not able to install the pattern in toolkit. I am using Toolkit 7.0.0.2.
Error 'PHP script not found: main.php (com.hmw.salesforce.sample)'.
Was anyone able to generate an instance of the pattern?

Thanks,
Firoj

I'd start by posting a clear description of what the "did not worked" means to the
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56797

discussion topic for this pattern.

That should hopefully encourage the author of this pattern to step in and assist.
