Hi,
There is requirement in our project where we have to create a new broker webservice. This new broker webservice should do 2 things:
Step 1: Call an existing broker service to perform an inquiry using inputs
Step 2: Using the details fetched from step 1, we have to do some calculations and call another existing maintenance service to update the values in the host. And once we recieve the response from the host after maintenance is done, we send back the response message to the requester.
Can someone help in giving an optimum soltuion for the above.. considering performance also. |

This is SOP in a SOA environment. The drawback is that SOAP is Synchronous so sometimes, performance os one step can drag the overall end-to-end performance down the tubes.
