Hi all,

Has someone already used wmqftp combined with a shell script ?

I'm trying to do something automatic so we won't need to keep informing the host name , queue manager name , queue , etc ...

I have a trigger so just need to call wmqftp and start to send the message to a remote host / directory .

Thank you ,

Adriano.

I am confused.

You know how to invoke wmqftp, yes? You know what options it takes?

You know how to write shell scripts, yes? You know how to use it to invoke a command with the options it takes?

Where is the issue? Please. Enlighten me.

Hi Jeff .

My idea is to have a trigger in a queue and then a script will be started every time a new message comes in .

Using wmqft was easy when doing that manually , values were pasted one by one and that works.

The problem I'm facing is related to the wmqftp that is not accepting what my script is giving as value .

Already tried to do based on strings . . . its not accepting the values for user / password .

Thank you !

Adriano.
