My WMB Configuration manager was going unresponsive intermittently. So, I deleted it along with its queue manager and then recreated both. However, now I'm unable to connect to the Broker domain using the old port number I was using (2414).
ps -ef|grep runmqlsr command shows port numbers for my brokers but not for my config manager.
Please help me connect to my broker domain again.
Thanks.

WMQ 101. Check the setup of the config manager's queue manager.

Also, if you've deleted the configmgr, I hope you are running at a level that will allow you to 'adopt' a broker using the CMP API or CMP API Exerciser.

Otherwise you're going to have to drop and recreate all of your brokers....

So there is no Listener running for your ConfigMgr Queue Manager?

1) use runmqsc or WMQExplorer to see if there is indee a TCP Listener defined for that QM.
2) If it is defined then check what port it is supposed to be running on.
3) Then check to see if it is running. If not then simply start it.
Then you should be aboe to connect the toolkit to the configMgr.

If the Config Manager can see your brokers, is clearly another question.

This is all WMQ Cilent Access 101.

Yep. I created the listener and started it. Now I'm able to connect to the broker domain.
Thanks for the help guys.
