Wanted a survey of WMB AIX Power6 WMB v7 users. How many cores in your AIX Power6 production environment and how many TPS do you see per core in prod? I realize the TPS is very dependent on the actual message flow designs.

The best we've seen so far is ~45 TPS per core on an SMT-configured Power6 AIX 2 core system. We think we might get 125 TPS per core on 8 cores with two kernal threads per core (1,000 TPS altogether).

Please comment on your actual config.
