When i try to connect the toolkit to Config Mgr it gives me error as

BIP0889E BIP1047E Check that the Configuration Manager is running.
Check the system event log to ensure that the Configuration Manager is available for use, and correct any errors that are shown.

When I checked on the AIX server i can see that ConfigMgr, Broker and even the Queue Manager are running.

Can you please let me know what can be the issue.

I was able to connect to this Config Mgr last week and there was no changes done after that

Did you check the status of the listener in broker Qmgr?

Have you changed log in user ID ?

You can try with "Configuration Manager Proxy API Exerciser" to connect. It will provide detailed logs of connecting which may help you to understand why you failed.

Connecting from the AIX machine, using the same userid that's running the CM will immediately tell you whether the ConfigMgr is actually unavailable, or whether it's an ACL or SVRCONN channel related problem.
You can use something like mqsideploy to do this.
