We have different java end applications which interacts with MQServer and we gave the reusable java mq API put or get options available to the end app.
Why would you possibly possibly want to do server monitoring from a business application?
Please don't do that. That way leads to pain and suffering.
There is some slight, vague, value in creating a monitoring solution that is 'agentless', that does not require you install specific software on each server that needs to be monitored.
but in general, the fact that this means that the software is significantly more limited in what it can actually monitor FAR OUTWEIGHS that advantage, such that none of the major monitoring vendors use this approach.
If you need to monitor your server, write MONITORING CODE that runs ON THE SERVER.
If you need to perform BUSINESS PROCESSING, write BUSINESS PROCESSING CODE.
