Hi,
- i wonder if after having started a trigger monitor on a remote client machine (the client appli is not on the server platform) this maintains the instance of the SVRCONN corresponding on the server <always> running (using server resources) ? - because the client trigger monitor has to scan an init queue on the server -
even after the client application started by the trigger monitor has read its messages in the triggered queue on the server - doing MQCONN, MQOPEN, MQGET, then MQDISC? normaly after MQDISC the instance of client channel must down?
what about the trigger monitor on the client box and the SVRCONN on the server after the client appli has done MQDISC?
- that's not very clear for me - thanks for information

Kakez,
the client trigger monitor is just like any other application. It does an MQCONN, MQOPEN and MQGET with unlimited wait. This is why the channel instance does not terminate after the application disconnects. Hope this helps. _________________ Cheers!!
