Hello all,
I tried to look for a WebSphere Adapter (JCA) for JDBC support with Message Broker (v6.1 to 7.0.1), and concluded that it is not supported yet.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=695&uid=swg27016752
Am I correct?
And, I would like to know if the JDBC nodes provided by the Broker's installation package implement full Adapter like capabilities? Especially listening to triggered DB changes...
Can some one please refer me to a documentation on the full capabilities of the JDBC nodes in Broker 6.1-7? Maybe a comparison between them and regular WBI Adapter for JDBC?
Thanks a lot. |

Moving to the Broker forum... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

As you would have inferred, from the link that you posted, JDBC JCA Adapters are not supported for WMB 7.

What JDBC Nodes did you spot in the Broker toolkit?

If you just want to synchronize two databases, why don't you try the options available with the DB product you are using?
I came across this great link, when i was trying to use the JDBC Adapter for DB2 Synchronization.

Thanks a lot. The need is not DB sync necessarily.
"JDBC Nodes" is my mistake, i meant the DB connection nodes that can run "on demand" operations on the DB. |

At the moment, you cannot get the DB nodes that ship with WMB 7 product base to automatically get invoked on a DB level change(Create, Update, Delete)
Raise a functionality request at the below link, if you really want it in the future.
