Hi,

we have a client that wants use to enable this option.
I'm not familiar with it but I found that it's set under connection factories which is under JMS administrated objects.

How do I use it?
how do i link between the CF and the queue manager?

our MQ server is version 6.0.2.8 installed on windows 2003.

I understand MQ server pretty good and one of my colleagues is a very good developer that understand the code side...

what I'm trying to understand is how do I link between the CF object and the queue manager - what we are trying to achieve is to support a client that wants to send us message using JMS and he's concerned about latency so he came back to us and asked to to use the OPTIMISTICPUBLICATION option.

are there any other ways to improve latency besides that? (and using the non-persistent messages).
