error in alter qmgr CCSID

I am trying to set up two qmanagers on two of my diff AIX servers. I am trying to simulate the data exchange between the two.

I want to set on qmanager at codepage 5035 and the other at 819.
Well, 819 is the default, so it is ok. What I can't set is 5035.

I try to do this: alter qmgr CCSID(5035). MQ complains that it is not valid (AMQ7090). Yet AIX Supports conversion between 819 and 5035. Any idea why?

i know the error msg says the ccsid is invalid. How do I find out what are the valid CCSID for my MQ server?

check out the file /var/mqm/conv/ccsid.tbl There are some notes
on how to do this
