Hi All,

Hope this is right forum to raise this question.

Presently i am working on middleware layer using IBM wepshere MQ 6.0.0 and implementation is ESQL.

I am planning to do certification on wepshere MQ, so i just want to know the patterns of this certification like ibm has provided 3 implementation.
1. Java
2. ESQL
3. Mapping
Should i need to know all the above 3 implementions other than administration part of MQ ?

Thanks,
Kumar

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion, Yes i am talking about message broker.
Transformation, routing of the message(s) are implemented using ESQL ( Extended Structured Query Language).

Thanks,
Kumar

Hi,

Thanks for the information. Yes i am looking forward to get certified on Message broker as well as Administration of MQ.

So for administration it shld be separate exam right ?

If you have any material related to this, it would be helpful.

Hmmm,

Follow the certification road maps: http://www-03.ibm.com/certify/news/20040916.shtml

They explain what you are expected to know. This is the best we can do and no one here is going to tell you what is exactly on the tests. It is better to be functionally competent and then get certified.

Follow the posting in these forums for your education and amusement as well as reading/re-reading and experimenting. It is worth while to quickly read all the documentation and understanding it is not necessary. As you use the products, something will ring a bell and you can go back and read it in detail.

Good luck (although luck should have nothing to do with this).

The study material is the manuals. I suggest you read post http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48168 with especial emphasis on the second statement. Good luck with the certification.
