Hello,

We have an architecture where in a source system(3 different sysytems) have to send batch data to 3 different inbound processes and from there to ETL source and target systems. Can any one explain me how can we go with this design, I mean can we use MQFTE for this design?

Appreciate quick response.

Thank you,
Raj

Hi RAJ2010,

Please explain "3 different inbound processes"...whats the process running on ? What does it do on the files ? Does it generate new files ?

Please explain "from there"....you want to save another copy to later send to ETL or send the "process" generated files to ETL ?

Regards.

Thanks for the response,

The 3 different inbound processes have to sent the files to ETL Source stage DB2, i am roughly giving you the architecture ,

Source system Batch DAta ETL SYSTEM

app1---------->ASCII FILE--------->IB-------Source stage DB2

app2----------------------------------->IB------Source stage DB2

app3---------->ASCII FILE--------->IB------Source stage DB2

IB:Inbound process

I dont think we need to save another copy , we will send the process generated files to ETL.

I am concerned only with App1 and APP3 of which is best to use (Proabably MQFTE) ? to pick up the ASCII files from App1 and 3 and then send it to Inbound process ...

let me know for any questions?

Thank you,
Raj

My question is from Source application can we use MQFTE to send ASCII file to batch data
