When you use the SoapEnvelope node and check the "create new envelope" property what determines the soap envelope namespace?
The soap envelope namespace produced by the node in our flow is:
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/
However, the service we are trying to consume rejects this and will only accept a soap envelope namespace of :
http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope
I expected to find a property on the SoapEnvelope node that would allow you to set the soap envelope namespace but could not find one. How does the SoapEnvelope node determine the namespace for the envelope?
I realize I can override this value using a compute node, but I would like to know how the namespace value is determined. |

The SOAP standards define the SOAP envelope namespace:Whether the SOAPEnvelope node can create a new SOAP 1.2 envelope is another matter. |

Does this mean the SoapEnvelope node is only works with SOAP 1.1? I can't believe that this would not have been addressed yet. |

Hi,
I think (but can't be sure) that the SOAPEnvelope node only creates SOAP 1.1 envelopes. However, with 6.1 if you use the SOAP nodes and the SOAP Domain then they will automatically create you a SOAP 1.2 envelope if your WSDL definition is SOAP 1.2 for the service. You do not need to use the SOAP Envelope node with the SOAP nodes...
