My Broker Version is 5.0 with CSD 08 and MQ is 5.3 with CSD 12. I got a completly new windows system on which I have installed these things.
When in toolkit I try to create a new domain, I am getting the following error.
TopicRoot information was not received from the Configuration Manager. Either the Configuration Manager is not available or the user 'administrator@isdd-401tr' does not have authority to view the object. (UUID='TopicRoot', required attribute='name')
The Config mgr is running and its QM are al running and also
The MQSI user is member of all the the MQ related user and also the db2.
I am not able to proceed as I am not able to find any solution, can some one kindly help me out. Its bit urgent |

Actually when installing MB it asked for a user ID les than 8 characters for which I had given 'admin' as the MQSI user. I have checked and this user is member of mqbrasgn, mqbrdevt, mqbrkrs, mqbrops, mqbrtpic, mqm, db2admin and also Administrator.
While waiting for reply on forum What I tried is I used mqsichangeconfigmgr and this time instead of giving 'admin' as the service user id gave 'administrator' (since asministrator is also member of all the above mentioned 5 groups) as the service user id and then restarted the configmgr.
But stil facing the same error:( |

nheng can you brief me regarding your suggestion kindly.
Coz in user Administrator i am not able to add this mqsi user I created 'Admin' as its not getting displayed when you try to add new users, whereas 'Admin' user is member of administrator.
can you kindly explain in a bit detail |

Hey thanks a lot guys for the help.
I solved the problem.
What I did is created a completly new user account called 'wbrkadm' made him member of all the MB related groups and then logged in that user ID and created a configmgr and then tried creating new domain connection and it worked.
What I believe was problem is that I had logged in as administrator and tried creating configmgr using 'admin' user account. So when I open toolkit it used to throw me this following error
'administrator@isdd-401tr' does not have authority to view the object. (UUID='TopicRoot', required attribute='name')
Even when I right click on toolkit icon and run as admin the problem still occured as system login was 'administrator'
I believe this was the mistake. Hope this reply helps someone else.
If someone can find what exact problem and reply it would be too gud |
