Good Afternoon,

Details:
MQ Version 7.0.0.2
AIX
RFHUTILC Ver 6 Build 202

Issue I have is with rfhutilc, when connecting to the Queue Manager and clicking on Load Names they are not displaying, however I can manually type Queue name in and all is fine, ie I cna open / put.

All I can guess is that I have missed putting some permissions on one of the required queues for RFHUtil

(If I change the channel mcauser to use mqm all is fine. )

This is what I have added for RFHUTIL that is within the documentation with the exception of the Q RFHUTIL as unsure about that as it doesnt exsist with it being dynamic?

setmqaut -m QMGW01PP -n RFHUTIL.REPLY.QUEUE** -t q -p username +all
setmqaut -m QMGW01PP -n SYSTEM.DEFAULT.MODEL.** -t q -p username +all
setmqaut -m QMGW01PP -n SYSTEM.ADMIN.COMMAND.QUEUE -t q -p username +all

Thanks in advance

Turn on MQ authoristation events so you can see which objects require which permissions. This should help identify if it really is a permissions issue.

Good to see you guys on version 7 now also. So long on 5.3 then a quick leap to 6 followed by a quicker one to 7!

Good work

If its a permissions issue you will get the authorisation event even if there are no errors

I didn't see a +all on the qmgr.

I didn't see a +dsp on -t queue -n **

There's a difference between the permissions needed to SEND a PCF command, and the permissions needed for EXECUTING the PCF command.

Hi

The commands I pasted in worked fine for the connect etc but they didnt display the local queues I set permissions up for.

For those I used +allmqi I didnt know that didnt include Browse.

All working fine now
