If there are SO many requests coming in to it, might that not explain why it is using more CPU? Are messages being processed but not quickly enough to keep up with the volume coming in? Or are no messages being processed? Or are messages being processed and backed-out? Please provide more information.

Also, if you're seeing very high volumes, putting a trace on is only going to exacerbate the situation. Could it in fact be partially caused by someone trying to run a trace and not turning it off after it failed? Have you checked the file system to see if trace data is being written?

As theraction of secondse are so many request coming and with in fr it is processing requests. I can't see trace because those are getting updated quickly..There are no msgs in backed out queues..Requests are processing succesfully... After adapter restart also the problem is not resolved..

Pls help me...

Having tracing on is bound to have a SIGNIFICANT impact on performance and CPU usage. Turn it off.

What kind of volumes are you getting in? How does this compare to the volumes before your 'problem'. How does this compare to the stress/performance testing you've previously done for your system? How does it compare to any IBM published performance stats? These are all questions you should be asking yourself, you don't need to post replies here.

Once you've considered all this, if you still believe there's a performance problem, use a Test environment to carry out some controlled testing, use trace there, gather all the relevant information and if necessary raise a Service Request with IBM ...
