Hi,

I am working on a integration where input file is a fixed length file. I have to put a condition check like if input file has all space then i have to discard the message. How can I do that. Pls help.

if the file is blank the message set schema itself will throw an error in the entry point.

Go to the MQ Input Node Properties - Validation and set it to Contents and Value

Test and see

I think that firoj.badsa doesn't use message set for it and read it as blob then maybe do CAST to CHARACTER type. If you do it like that you could maybe call TRIM on the whole input file and check what is the outcome from it. Should be blank in that case.

Thanks for quick reply. Yes, I am using a message set and the trick to change the property(validation) in Input node worked for me. Thanks a lot.
