Hi,

I was able to install MQseries on Windows XP professional edition .However at the end it showed me problems a dilaog message to check the log file.

In the log file

------

13:40:49 Finished

13:40:49 Exit: Setup successful


-------

I found the following lines at the end suggesting me that it indeed has been successful.However after that when the default configuration takes place , it goes for an infinite loop showing me the status but never completing the process.

Does it mean that I cannot install MQSeries v5.2 server & client on windows XP ? Has anyone faced this before , any workarounds available ??

please suggest me

MQ 5.2 does not work on Windows/XP.
You need Websphere MQ 5.3.0.1.
