I have downloaded MsgTest Utility V1.3 and installed MQ Server V6. When I try to run the MsgTest.exe, I'm getting the following error.
Quote: |
This application has failed to start because amqzsai.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. |
Which application (MQ or MsgTest) do I need to install again? Am I doing something wrong?
I added the following things to PATH system variable, as mentioed the MA0T documentation.
C:\MsgTest\bin\MsgTest.exe;C:\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin\mqic32.dll;C:\MsgTest\bin\libexpat.dll
I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Bharat |

If you're using a bindings version of an application, adding mqic to the path will not do anyone any favors.
If you don't know if you are using the Bindings version or the client version, you should contact the maintainer/author of the supportPack. |

Still I'm not using MA0T to test any application. First thing, I want to test the MsgTest (MA0T) on my system. I installed MQ Server V6.0 on Windows XP. I downloaded MA0T and trying to load messages on a Test queue created on the qmgr in localhost using the sample scripts supplied with MA0T.
I'm trying to run
Code: |
C:\MsgTest\bin\MsgTest.exe amqsput.xml <qmgr name> |
I'm getting this error.

Do I need to configure anything else to use this support pack? |

Yes, you're probably missing something.
I don't, in particular, know what.
MA0T is a Cat 4 SupportPac which means the only one that supports it is the author.
That author may be around in a bit to comment on this thread, but if you look in the documentation that comes with MA0T, you should find contact information. If you use that to contact the author, you may get a faster response than waiting here. Bear in mind that Tim is in Australia, and so there may be timezone issues to worry about from where you are. |
