I tried to delete a remote Q definition

DELETE QR(myremoteQ)
AMQ8148: WebSphere MQ object in use.

I then tried to display the status to find out who is using it

DIS QSTATUS(myremoteQ) TYPE(HANDLE)
4 : DIS QSTATUS(myremoteQ) TYPE(HANDLE)
AMQ8147: WebSphere MQ object myremoteQ not found.

My WMQ level is
$dspmqver
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.2.1
CMVC level: p600-201-070307
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

Is there a way to find out who is using the remoteQ ?

Look at who's using the xmit queue that it relates to.
