When a PEA is started should it service activities generated by the username under which it was started (possible ?) or for all users. My PEA is servicing all requests which is not desired. I want each user to have their own PEA.

Only for the user it is started for.

But I am not sure why it is servicing other requests.

If you are using standard client then iy logon as somebody else then another PEA will be started

Venny,
I have a cluster with two QM's one on the server and one on the Client (devel setup !). The idea is/was that I will do all jsp/java devel on my client machine, websphere is running local (client machine) for WebClient jsp's and then I would start up the pea which would service my Java activities. All my dB's are on the server machine and my runtime server is there too. Everything seems to work fine, only that when another user logs on to the devel machine and starts an activity it get's executed in my pea running under my id even though a pea for that id is running on the server machine...... Once again I am confused.

Any ideas would be welcome.
