Hi all,

Can we create a broker domain in AIX using some commands ?
If yes then How ? if no then Why ?

I'm sure i'm missing what you are asking for but do you mean the
mqsicreatebroker command?

If so i'm gonna have to point you to the documentation as this will be covered in there!

No.
This command is to create the Broker. But I asked for Broker Domain.

you need toolkit to create broker domain and WMB toolkit is not supported on AIX

So you have to connect thru a toolkit to your broker/configMgr created on AIX..

No.
This command is to create the Broker. But I asked for Broker Domain.

The "Broker Domain" only exists in the Toolkit. So, yeah, you need the Toolkit.

You can use mqsicreateexecutiongroup to register a broker with a configmgr without using the Toolkit.

How about using the config manager proxy (java program)? That too should allow you to create a broker domain...

I stand by my previous answer. A Broker Domain exists only in the Toolkit.

A broker can be registered with a configmgr by several means, one of which is indeed the CMP API.
