Wow... Ian, your solution 1 works like a charm! However, there's still something missing...

The contact admin as defined in my message set won't appear in the bitstream

For example, if I define in my message set to pad with zeroes in front (right justify for the element), and I assign '123' to the element in my ESQL, and assuming that the length of the field is 5 bytes, then I should see '00123', right? But in the bitstream it's still displaying '123' although when it goes into the queue it will be '00123'...
